Funny, Relatable, and Snarky Self-Help Books
Sometimes we all need a little help sucking less...
Life is hard, but love doesn't have to be. While becoming a superstar at relationships IS hard, everyone can benefit from making adjustments to suck less at love and relationships. This snarky self-help book provides inspirational advice about relationships from a woman’s perspective, but it also provides blunt this-is-how-it-is advice straight from the lips of a man’s man.
By inviting her unwilling husband to be interviewed at the end of each chapter, Lewis paints a full picture of each relationship issue from both sides. With splashes of humor and honesty, this book helps readers reflect on their own love lives and provides guidance to help them suck less at love.
... it's like Men are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, but it's modern, sassy, and based on a real-life couple's success.
Staying true to her brand, Cyndi Lewis doles out snarky self-help advice on parenting with a twist. For a completely honest and oftentimes humorous opinion on the subject matter, Lewis interviews her two little boys (ages 9 and 12) about parenting.
Suck Less at Parenting: How NOT to Raise Little Monsters gives would-be parents, parents, grandparents, and all caregivers out-of-the-box ideas and relatable advice about how to get through some of the challenges that come with raising children.
Parenting isn’t always about trying to climb a steep mountain without the right gear, and there is no one perfect manual for your specific situation. Luckily for you, however, sometimes you just need to have the right friend with the right advice to stand alongside you and offer new solutions to age-old problems. Lewis is that friend who is in the parenting trenches right alongside you trying to suck less every day.
While there are certainly challenges in parenting, there are also many great opportunities along the way to find creative ways to make memories and traditions and to teach them how NOT to grow up to be little monsters.

Cyndi Lewis was born in South Korea, was adopted to Wisconsin, and currently lives in Duluth, MN. Her decades of writing marketing copy, blogs, press releases, magazine articles, and short stories have sharpened her writing skills. Cyndi’s passion is advising on subject matters that she is successful in. Suck Less at Love: She Said, He Said Advice on Relationships is her first self-help book, but she is working on more for the series.
Cyndi can usually be found deeply committed to a side project, whether it’s baking in triple batches, making a podcast with her husband, entertaining, starting a new business, or meddling in other people’s relationships. Having done extensive research about how to be successful in relationships while applying it in real-time to her relationships, Cyndi has achieved the coveted “love-of-my-life” badge with her second husband, Andrew.
Innumerable conversations with her husband about why men, women, and her friends behave the way they do in relationships inspired Cyndi to combine her love for writing with her newfound knowledge about how to be successful in relationships. Being able to help others find happiness in love has been her passion since becoming the epitome of #couplegoals with her second marriage.
Cyndi's non-existant free time is spent volunteering in the community, enjoying the outdoors, baking, and creating original pebble art from rocks and sea glass that she finds on the shores of Lake Superior (North Shore Pebble Art) during beach days with her family. Cyndi is looking forward to her husband’s impending retirement because that means he will finally move in and start his new career as trophy husband who fixes things and looks good doing it.
