"ABSOLUTELY LOVED!
I really loved the content in this book! It’s an easy read with a lot of great humor! I especially loved how it referenced real-life experiences like trying to fix someone and how important it is to have the must-have, must-not-have, and nice-to-have lists and the neutrality that these lists should be made in. This book was filled with a lot of great ideas and tools, and I appreciated how communication was the theme in much of the content. It was fun to see the how the advice followed along with the evolution of the author's relationship with her significant other. I definitively recommend this great read!!!"

"What a fun and thought-provoking read!
This was not your normal book about relationships, there are both female and male sides of the relationship represented. The silly banter between Cyndi Lewis and her husband made me smile and laugh, I felt as if I was sitting in the room with them. The parts where there were the his side/her side conversation were my favorite. The advice in this book was top notch; I highly recommend it to anyone who is married or in a relationship.
My one of my favorite quotes from the book is 'Finding your person can often feel like home, home is comfortable. Comfort leads to complacency, complacency leads to taking things for granted. Comfort in communication should be the comfort your seek.'"

"Relatable relationship advice!
Cyndi has years of experience between herself, her husband and others. She’s sharing it with us.
Synopsis:
Sucking less at love is something we could all do. Life can be challenging, but love doesn’t have to be. Will anyone ever be perfect at it, no. But we could all benefit from making adjustments to suck less at love and relationships. This well written, double POV self-help book provides inspirational advice from a woman’s perspective, but also includes some advice from a man’s man.
Cyndi has invited her husband to be interviewed and includes this at the end of each chapter. 'Was anyone successful at changing you?' 'Yeah. They changed me for the worse.' Man - nail on the head! With sprinkles of humor and honesty from both Cyndi and her husband, this book motivates you to look into your own relationships while providing guidance to help you suck less at love.
My favorite quote from the book:
'Sometimes, when it comes to love and relationships, you need to trust your gut because your gut is your logical brain fighting your emotional heart.'
That line, is simply brilliant!
Note: I would refer my own family to this book."

It gives me hope for love.
"It’s so fun reading about how you guys met and Andy’s commentary! It gives me hope for love. I’ve been so down with grief that I don’t see it happening anytime soon, but your book makes me feel like it’ll happen when it happens and when I'm ready. It’s already helping me so much.”

"Cyndi's self-help, relationship advice book is so relatable on so many levels. There are a lot of scenarios that I have been in, a couple of them being recent struggles, and now I have a new perspective on how I can try to approach it without any heated, in the moment blow ups. I love how raw and honest they are in sharing their story. AND that Andy was a part of it, willing or not 🤣
There are a lot of funny conversations throughout and really puts a perspective on the She Said He Said. We are so complicated as humans, and our brains function so differently between man and woman. Cyndi's book forces you to look into the mind of your significant other and say, "Well... I could really suck less on that aspect of my situation"; "Maybe the way I thought about that pesky task wasn't as serious of a deal to him in his mind".
Anyone who's been in a relationship knows that is hard as hell and sometimes it's every little thing they do that irritates you. Cyndi gives excellent ways to dial back, assess the situation, and then proceed.
Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for ways to enhance your relationship, even if it's just little gestures to appreciate one another more."

I purchased the first book in the series, Suck Less at Love, and I couldn’t wait for this book to come out! The author has such a unique voice that is helpful, humorous, and speaks to the reader like a friend.
Parenting hasn’t started out very easily for me because my partner and I aren’t always on the same page, but reading this book together and using it as a conversation starter, we have become more of a team which has made a world of difference.
I think every parent or would-be parent needs to read this book!
I wish I would have had this book when my kids were really little so I could have played Tooth Fairy more stealthily! The book has such great tips and insights into parenting, and it's pretty funny too. Highly recommend it! Would be an awesome gift for a baby shower!
There is never too much advice or information out there on how to better provide for and raise our children. Cyndi is able to use her real life scenarios, experiences and conversations with her family to help others accelerate the ever-changing parent-child relationship. Every chapter hits a relatable situation I can guarantee most of us have gone through and gives magnificent ways to redirect our thinking when we may be at our wits end.
This book gives a lot of wonderful ideas and “tips and tricks” to help guide parenting styles so that we can build a positive interaction and make changes where it is needed. It is a constant struggle to keep up with the ability to remain calm, stay consistent, effective discipline/rewards, and staying on routine in a fast-paced lifestyle. Then, trying to input minor adjustments here and there as they get older and their interests change. Her book provides thoughts, stories and ideas on how to navigate these trials and gets you thinking in a new perspective.
I LOVE her snarkiness and humor throughout, as well. Cyndi isn't afraid to say what we're thinking and it is SO REFRESHING to read it on the pages. She becomes your best friend as the chapters progress. You can imagine yourself in the room with her having these tough conversations. I love and appreciate that she has been so bold and brave to bring up these tough parenting scenarios and share her advice with us so that we can be a truest versions of ourselves and for our babies.
I loved this book! Packed with nuggets of information and personal stories, the author makes you feel like a family friend. Advice given from a standpoint of bettering yourself, what more could you ask for?
Don't miss it!!
This book was my favorite out of all three because it offers great life hacks for anyone at any age. Some of the subjects would normally lose me in how boring they could be, but the author makes them interesting, funny, and easy to understand. I even found myself laughing out loud with started a few good conversations about the subject matter. Excellent!
First of all, the series looks amazing together! The third book is definitely my favorite because the advice is not so much about how to make it through a challenge most people face, it’s about how to be better than average, which I love!
I think this is the sassiest, funniest, and most unfiltered book in the series, and it’s what makes this author’s style unique. Her husband’s interjections of blunt honesty are refreshing, and priceless. This book would be great as a graduation gift or an office party gift, but I think it’s a great resource for pretty much anyone. LOVED IT and the Suck Less Series.
This book stands out with its no-nonsense approach to self-help. The author's practical advice on how to suck less at life is both engaging and applicable. Each chapter is filled with actionable steps that readers can implement immediately. Whether you're looking to improve your personal or professional life, this book offers valuable insights. It's a great reminder that small changes can lead to significant improvements over time.
